USA - Trucks Allowed to Park on Streets
WTWO - Indianapolis,IN,USA 3/28/2006: -- City leaders in Brazil are trying to come to grips with semi truck trailers... A proposed ordinance would prohibit trailers from parking along city streets, but Mayor Tom Arthur vetoed that plan... He said it needed some clarifications. So, the City Council met tonight to possibly override the Mayor`s veto... But when it came up for a vote, none of the Council members decided to override the veto... So, trailers will be permitted to park along Brazil streets... But Council members plan to present new language at the next meeting, to clarify length and height of trailers, and the types of trailers affected by the ordinance...
