New Generation of Smog-Free Diesel Fuel, Engines Introduced This Year

TORONTO, ONT.,Canada -CCNMatthews -Apr 20, 2006: -- This Earth Day, Canada's trucking industry has much to be proud of. According to the CTA, before this year is out, the air coming out of new heavy truck exhaust systems could be cleaner than the air we breathe - and that's no exaggeration... The new mandatory fuel and engine emission standards introduced by both the Canadian and US federal governments "will usher in the age of the smog-free truck," says CTA CEO David Bradley. "None of the other modes - rail, marine or air - have anywhere near the same requirements and that only trucks will be able to lay claim to being the most environmentally-friendly mode of commercial goods transport"...
