Study - USA - Hybrids could replace FedEx's medium duty line

DALLAS, TEX.,USA -Today's Trucking News -25 August 2006: -- Stanford University Graduate School of Business is studying Freightliner's efforts to bring diesel hybrid electric engines to market as an alternative for applications such as delivery vans and utility vehicles... The case study highlights the joint venture by Freightliner Eaton Corp., and FedEx Express to build a fleet of delivery vans powered by environmentally friendly diesel-electric hybrids...
