* Japan - Nissan Says U.S. Mobile Phones May Disable Altima, G35 Key
Tokyo,Japan -Bloomberg, by Alan Ohnsman -May 25, 2007: -- Nissan Motor Co., Japan's third- largest automaker, said U.S. mobile phones may disable a high- tech key used on two of its newest U.S. models, erasing a code that lets the key open doors and start the car... "Intelligent Keys'' used on Tokyo-based Nissan's 2007 model Altima sedan and Infiniti G35 sports car have been disabled when certain types of phones are kept too close to the device, erasing electronic codes, spokesman Tim Gallagher said today.
