CEDIGAZ, it's a France-based association with 100 members in 40 countries, said today in a report... “The cost advantage of LNG relative to diesel currently provides a strong economic incentive in the trucking industry,” the report said... Global demand for LNG in road transport is estimated at 45 million metric tons a year in 2025 and 96 million tons in 2035 from almost zero in 2010... China, which already has infrastructure in place, will represent almost half of the market for the use of LNG in trucks, according to the report... “With at least 100,000 LNG vehicles and 1,100 refueling stations at the end of 2013, China already has a head start over the rest of the world in this nascent market,” the report said. “However, gas price reform in China may slow LNG growth there. LNG should also carve out a significant market share in the USA, Europe and the rest of Asia” ...
